PROFINET診斷軟件用于分析網(wǎng)絡(luò)狀態(tài)，具有主動(dòng)掃描和被動(dòng)監(jiān)聽(tīng)兩種模式。被動(dòng)模式下，該軟件可通過(guò)不同的監(jiān)聽(tīng)設(shè)備來(lái)捕獲PROFINET通訊報(bào)文，比如Softing PROFINET在線監(jiān)測(cè)儀（需鏡像端口）或Softing echoTAP，也可直接使用PROFINET網(wǎng)絡(luò)中設(shè)備自帶的鏡像端口。主動(dòng)模式可提供所掃描設(shè)備的完整信息。該軟件可記錄并保存檢測(cè)結(jié)果，便于離線分析。該軟件有多種瀏覽界面，在幀界面里，通訊報(bào)文將被解碼并顯示詳細(xì)信息。網(wǎng)絡(luò)狀態(tài)界面則顯示所有PROFINET和非PROFINET設(shè)備的當(dāng)前狀態(tài)以及設(shè)備信息�？捎玫墓δ苋Q于所連接的監(jiān)聽(tīng)設(shè)備，echoTAP和鏡像端口只支持被動(dòng)模式，通過(guò)適配器直接連接到網(wǎng)絡(luò)支持主動(dòng)和被動(dòng)兩種模式。
